Early start for the month of June and i’ll be doing the DND 30 Day Challenge !
“Day 1-How you got started”
My first character was Sareka my half-elven barbarian babe, she is awesome and has a total attitude, abused her Intimidate skill, and broke things first before discussing anything beyond what was gonna be hunted for dinner. She was the oddball of the group she was in, and stood out obviously. Chaotic Neutral, she did things for her survival but her lack of social knowledge led her into some more chaotic decisions. The brawler of the group she would always get in neck deep in monsters and usually did about 80% of the damage in the group fights as our group consisted of a Bard who fought and supported, a Wizard in training that refused to use aggressive spells because it was “too barbaric,” and a Fighter and a Monk that bickered too much to actually do much damage. Regardless, her Constitution was through the roof and her six pack took many hits while her axe sliced off many heads of creatures!
Another thing I enjoyed about playing Sareka was in her roleplay she actually was unaware of being part Human, and proudly announced her Elven heritage at any chance she could get. She never knew her mother. Her father conceived Sareka with her mother on the many “forest walks” her mother would go on from her human town just North of the forest they lived in. When Sareka’s mother’s husband went on a year long business trip, she coincidentally became pregnant at this time and kept it secret from the entire town and before her husband came back birthed Sareka and had to give her to the father, and their union soon became split after the husband initiated moving closer to where he worked and took Sareka’s mother with him. Sareka grew up close to her father, a Wild Elf, living with him until she was caught off guard by falling into an underground set of caves in the Underdark and running head first into the adventuring group while on a hunting trip for her village. She continued on with the group in hopes of finding a way to get home!
